About Me

Steve was a member of theA350 Steering Group for the Airbus Advanced Composites Research and Development Centre at Broughton, N. Wales and worked with Airbus as Training Manager to develop the composites training for the A350 and new generation aircraft prior to joining North Composites Engineering.

Aircraft maintenance training has been a major part of his work for many years from EASA part 66 training for aircraft maintenance, continuation training for EASA part 145 organisations to EASA part 147 as a form 4 holder Training Manager for the A330 Strategic Air Tanker delivering type training to RAF personnel.

He was a consultant for many UK vocational qualifications for City and Guilds in Aircraft Manufacture and Aircraft Maintenance and has wide experience of managing apprenticeship schemes including Airbus, Thomas Cook, BAE Systems and Hawker Beechcraft also as manager of the European Centre for Aerospace Training (ECAT). He has a wide industrial experience as a research and development engineer gained from many high profile organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and Lotus.
